Graduate Trainees-Kenya

The graduate trainees will have the exposure, experience and development across related marketing functions with the aim of making them seasoned marketers within the company over a period of time. The role aims at developing a strong team of marketers within Treasure Communications who will also be future managers in various projects,. 

Key Responsibilities:

·         Conduct market research identify all selling opportunities and evaluate customer needs.

·         Develop “out of the box” marketing strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness.

·      “Get the sale” using various customer sales methods (door-to-door, cold calling, presentations etc.).

·      Creating and maintain contact in the market place, and managing a database of all existing and potential outlets in their assigned territories.

Qualification for the Treasure Graduate Trainee Program:

·         We are interested in candidates who have graduated from recognized institutions within the last one (1) year in Commerce, Business Administration or related business fields preferably Marketing.

·         Should be 23 years of age. 

·         Keen interest in developing a career in Marketing.

·         Flexibility to work in any part of the country

·         Field oriented and passionate character.

·         A “ do attitude” character who is passionate and focused at the task assigned to them

·         An extrovert with excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

·         Team player and leadership qualities.

·         Willing to take every opportunity to learn and grow.

·         Very passionate about consumers and customers.

·         High levels of integrity.

·         Must also be computer literate.

The programme will be a continuous recruitment initiative for talented, highly qualified professionals, competitive, exceptionally bright graduates to start a career in the ever-evolving area of marketing, sales and client service.

The programme is aimed at tapping fresh university graduates and grooming them to meet long-term sustainable future in marketing. We are pleased to announce the recruitment of Treasure Graduate Trainee Programme 2017.

The Trainee Programme positions are structured professional development roles designed specifically to identify and grow the future generation of marketers. The 24 months programme is designed to prepare future leaders in marketing industry. The trainees will benefit from excellent development opportunities as they start their careers in marketing. In addition of the hands on learning approach, the programme offers a supportive environment, an opportunity to work in a number of different marketing roles during a rotational role schedule, on the job training and mentoring, providing continuous feedback on trainees’ performance so as to nurture career development in Marketing.

 Although the graduate role will carry entry level responsibilities, one is expected to play a significant role in the department or team assigned. Whether one is in a large project or not, the graduate will develop valuable skills to their career. They will be challenged to think on their feet in a range of professional environment.
